WHAT IS MIRON GLASS?
Miron (or Violet) glass is an extremely special and unique type of glass. At Lemon Canary we use this glass for some of our container natural wax candles, body mists and essential oils. It is a magnificent looking glass but thats not the main reason why we use it. Miron glass is simply the ultimate for preserving our products that contain organic essential oils… even much better than amber glass. And they preserve for extended periods of time.
The Miron glass is an excellent natural container that not only preserves but also enhances the quality of the contents being stored inside. This feature allows us to maintain and enhance the essential oils, natural wax or mist liquid that are kept inside, ensuring that our products are the highest grade not just when we make it but when you use it.
HOW DOES IT WORK & WHY IS IT BETTER THAN REGULAR GLASS?
Miron glass vessels are different than any other glass container because of its natural preserving qualities. Normal glass allows harsh light to penetrate and pass through the product inside. But Miron glass allows only ultra- violet, violet and infra-red rays to pass through working as a filter to block out harsh and damaging light. This precious light that is allowed through improves and lengthens the potency and quality of the product inside without the use of chemicals, preservatives and other nasties. Pretty incredible right!?
